Anthony Writes a Book
I’m here to share the story of writing my story.
Imagine if you could follow your favorite author’s progress as they write their next book. If you’re a fan, how cool would that be?! And yes, I some do this to varying degrees, but that’s beside the point.
I’m not one of your favorite authors (yet), but I’m here to take you behind the scenes and show you what it’s like for me to write a book, from concept to completion. After each writing session, I jot down a few paragraphs. Sometimes I talk about themes, character motivations, scenery, or whatever else comes to mind. It’s spoiler-free content, and converting them into vlogs has been a fun exercise, even though I hate how I look on camera, haha!
The majority of these videos have a progress bar on the top left corner that includes the current chapter #, session word count, and total word count. I’ll also be sharing content about characters, concepts, lore, the first seven or so chapters, and a bunch of other things (open to suggestions!) as I go.

About the story (so far)
In the gleaming crystal city of Kalia, the most anticipated gala of the season is set against the backdrop of a museum exhibit. Leaders and celebrities from every corner of the world will be in attendance, and that’s exactly what Eliza Bennihan is counting on. Eliza doesn’t have an invitation, a dress, or even a semblance of a plan, but she’s determined to get inside and secure a job that will change her life.
However, Eliza isn’t the only one looking to crash the party. Within the exhibit is an artifact of terrifying power, a secret known only to a few. In the wrong hands, it could start a war… or win one. Or worse, it could annihilate an entire species. It’s happened before.
And this artifact is just one of many.
